Review: The mains cable is too short. When using the electrical socket I have used with my Previous Black and Decker steam mop. I can not mop the same area of floor. When in use the steam is produced quickly from when the power is switched on. When using the mop on the floor it is easy to use and does a great job of getting dogy paw prints of a vinyl floor. My Previous Black and Decker steam mop which lasted over 7 years would mop the hall way and kitchen floor with one fill of the water tank. While the new steam mop required a fill of the water tank. This required switching the mop off and using the fill jug from the old Black and Decker steam mop. As the new mop does not come with a refill jug. The instructions say fill the water tank via a tap. This involves holding the mop under a running water tap. There is nowhere to keep the mains cable when the mop is out of use as there is only 1 cable retainor along the length of the mop handle. Note to manufacture 2 cable retainors are required to wrap the cable around to ensure the the cable is tidy. Are all the above faults due to cost cutting?
