Review: I purchased these bits in a selection of sizes in anticipation of a particular job, which was then delayed. With the 6mm bit, drilling into standard red house brick, the tip of the drill separated from the shank on the first hole (only 40-50mm depth). The fractured end rounded off. I'm not sure that if used with its intended substrate , reinforced concrete, it would have managed to penetrate at all without breaking. Reference to the other 1-star reviews for these bits will show that this is not an uncommon scenario. At best, a defective batch has made into the reseller channel. At worst, they are all like it. There are a large number of positive reviews, and indeed, I found the other sizes I'd purchased to be fine (at least, in red house brick), which suggests that it may be worth taking a risk but only if you test their fitness for purpose before the Amazon return window closes.
