Review: I've used this for a while now and can confidently say that this is worth every penny. I got the "fine" geade and it can put an edge on or (with effort) even reprofile a blade. It lasts forever compared to a traditional wet stone and weighs a ton - be aware that it is a bit thin so chunky handed people would benefit from raising the stone a little for ease of use. I have had no issues with the diamond surface pitting or failing in any way. Buy with confidence because they are great!

Review: I decided to give this a go after seeing it in action on many YouTube videos, and personally I don't think that it's as great as they say. I bought the coarse stone and it doesn't feel coarse to me but more like fine. In use it took some time to actually get an initial edge on my planes blades, which is something that my Norton stones did with ease. So to get a razor edge on my blades, I had to grind them down on my grinder and then finish them off on this stone. One thing that I did notice is that the coating doesn't seem to be consistent across the surface, as it does look bare around the edges and corners. And lastly, I think that they should change the photo for this product as I bought this in a rush and assumed that I was getting three stones. You can imagine my shock when I discovered that you only get one small stone for £30!
