Review: Very useful for taking sharp edges off things. Say you got a digital caliper (likeProfessional Electronic Digital Vernier Caliper (Made in Germany) ) which works nicely but the edges are uncomfortably sharp - just a pass or two with this breaks the edges just right. Or you've mended a cheaply-manufactured paper fan with stupidly soft metal for the pin - a gentle pass with the extra fine side smooths off the head of the pin to give 100% SO acceptance. I've also used it to take a sharp edge off a bit of chipped glass. The handles aren't so good in that they are outside the plane of the cutting surfaces so it is not possible to lay it flat on a table. However, the pin holding one of the handles on mine is coming out of its own accord so I am thinking of removing them and gluing them together to make a sheath.

Review: I have owned a few, unfortunately this one has a faulty coating so it has to go back. Not impressed that Amazon are making me pay postage for return of a faulty item. I buy a lot through Amazon but will now review future purchases.
