Review: The lamp base is solid and connects well to the lamp body and there is ample room within for connections and I was able to leave around 150 mm of spare feed cable inside the lamp, which I find prefer not to trim too short in case its needed in the future. The actual lamp body and shade are well made and finished and came very well-packaged. The only two issues are that the fixings on the backplate are set out with two at the top (spaced apart) and a single one at the bottom in the centre. This posed a problem as we had brought the cables up the wall to the light position form the switch so I could not use the central bottom hole for fixing. This was overcome by using one of the other holes that are pre-made in the back plate that sit to the left of the central hole as they cleared the cable position. A washer was needed for this bottom fixing as the back plate would not sit level without it but this was a minor issue and using the top two fixing holes plus one of the side 'vent' holes allowed a solid fixing. The only other slight issue was that the lamp body is wired into the back plate via the switch and it would be very difficult to separate the two parts which would have made mounting the lamp easier. It just means that the body of the lamp is hanging down while you mark for the drill holes and while you are fixing the back plate so a little extra care is needed so as not to scratch the lamp body while doing this. Apart from that the light fitting is of very high quality and I am pleased with the four I purchased and would buy them again.

Review: Wenn sie erst einmal hängen sind die Lampen so schick wie ich sie erwartet habe, leider ist die Verarbeitung nicht ganz so hochwertig. Die Kabelabdeckung sollte man nicht wieder abnehmen wenn sie einmal richtig sitzt und beim putzen kann es passieren das sie wieder abfällt.
