Review: This is a great product for keeping moss at bay from paths or patio slabs. Also useful in dilute form for cleaning/disinfecting the inside of greenhouse glass. It can smell a bit immediately after application, so be careful using in confined spaces. I use a dedicated watering can with a spray head for application. I have tried a knapsack sprayer, but found the product can gunge up the spray head.

Review: I’ve been using the original Jeyes fluid for over 18 years to kill moss, algae etc on a very large block paved driveway of around 350 square metres. I’ve always applied it by diluting 50-75ml in a 10 litre watering can, so a low dose, and then pouring onto the driveway and just leaving it to dry until the rain came. You got the familiar clean smell and it left a white powder like residue in places So that was the original dark Jeyes in the tin can - worked perfectly…….. 5+stars Then they changed it, it went to a fluorescent green colour, it still worked although I needed to add a little more, and although I wasn’t convinced it did actually kill off all the moss etc. And now they’ve changed it again…. Be in no doubt, this is a clear liquid, with hardly any smell. I used an entire 5 litre container of it, at my normal dilution rate and after 14 days it had made no impact whatsoever. So I tried a small area with a much higher dilution rate of 500ml in a 10 litre watering can. So that’s a lot based on how much I need to cover this size area. It would be uneconomical but if it worked, maybe. But it didn’t kill anything So although I have no evidence, they’ve even diluted it down to make more less effective product but sell it for the same price, or taken a vital, possibly expensive ingredient out which renders in ineffective So have no doubt what’s been said in the other reviews, it’s nothing like original Jeyes fluid. For whatever reasons, they had a great product but have simply ruined it which I’m sure they will realise over a period when people stop buying it. Jeyes, please put it back to the REAL original and not this utter rubbish…..
