Review: A couple of coats of this on knots stops bleed-through of redwood sap showing up on gloss paint. There's nothing more annoying than the brown stain of a knot appearing a couple of years after a paint job. This is a very pale brown, so doesn't show even under white paint. I find it needs two coats but it's dirty in 10 to 15 minutes so that's no problem. Brushes wash out in meths.
