Review: I have tried several tapes , but this has got to be the best so far

Review: For about two months I thought I'd found myself the perfect tape - comfortable, clear, compact, sturdy, auto-locking, everything - but then it's locking function began to slowly fail. Before long, it wouldn't stop the blade from retracting back at all. I opened it up with a screwdriver and removed the spring-powered rubber component that is supposed to lock the blade, and found that the two prongs that make contact with the blade had substantially worn away. I added two globs of gorilla glue to the tips of the prongs and let it set before reassembling the thing. Now it's back to perfect working order, but this maintenance shouldn't be required on such an expensive tape after such little use. This is a design failure, not a one-off. I can almost guarantee anyone who owns this will experience the same issues as I have.
