Review: Right it is just over 1000grams (1.2kg) so its not good for swinging over and over and over and over etc. But with me it has been used and abused but it is still going strong. If you want a hammer this is a great if not the best goto

Review: I am VERY disappointed with this hammer. I returned the first one because the ball pein was not ball shaped, it had a ridge across the ball! This totally destroys the point of a ball pein. The second one has a point on the pein. The handle is good, well shaped and with a secure grip. The head and handle seem to be securely attached. The head shape is fine, but, the quality of the grinding is very poor, roughly what I would expect from a hammer from a market stall. I've been buying and using tools for over 40 years and this is the first time I have found fault with a Stanley tool. Will think twice before buying Stanley in future. p.s. the handle is grey and not yellow ( minor quibble).
