Review: Very impressed with these, I've been looking for a solution to allow me to open my wood frame windows for ventilation but not open wide enough that my cats can get out. These allow me to open the window about 4cm, perfect. Very well made and even though I can't use the stops on the window arm while open, I can screw the nut on this lock down so the window won't move in the wind. These are exactly what I needed for the problem I was trying to solve

Review: Giving 3 stars, as we returned. These did not fit my windows. Despite the other reviews stating they have been used with uPVC windows, it will depend on your window design if the will fit. The anchor bracket shown on the left of the picture needs to be attached to the window surround/frame, and the arm to the window, with a few millimeters clearance. Our windows have a 2 inch lip that seals the window meaning the arm was too far from the anchor. Options to make it work: 1. use a metal L bracket to attach the anchor to the plastic lip, with is thin and flimsy compromising security. 2. Cut away a section of the lip: Measured this and concluded it would not work 3. Attach a block of wood to the window frame to lift the anchor up to meet where the arm of the window sits. Thought this would look unsightly Hope this helps anyone else choosing these.
