Review: I was a bit apprehensive when I received a size 44. I usually wear UK 10.5 which I usually equate to a 45. I did not need to fear. I would say the boots are more aligned with a size 46 than a 44. Fortunately the heel hold (in conjunction with the ankle) hold is good enough and I am not rubbing holes in the back of my heels. The toe box is very generous. I wanted a pair of tough boots for winter gardening, including digging. These appear to be tough boots. I have been digging comfortably. I'm don't know how comfortable they would be for all-day-wear, or walking distance, but so far I am happy.

Review: I must stress that this is in no way aimed at the seller and is purely an opinion of these boots. I bought these boots around two months ago, but certainly no longer than three. I am a gardener/grounds maintenance worker, hence I needed some safety boots. I have to say that these boots really haven't lasted well at all. We had a fairly unusual dry summer in the U.K. this year, so they haven't even really been wet, but after a couple of months of normal work wear, they are nearly ready for the bin already. They have been pushed out of shape quite badly, so don't support my feet very well anymore, but I will forgive that part. The part that I can't forgive, is that at the rear of the boot where my heel is, there is usually a decent re-enforced strip that runs up the back of the boot. Unfortunately, the re-enforcing was a flimsy piece of plastic which has come apart and the rear of the boots now sag because the plastic has broken up. The worst part of all, is that the sole of the left boot is letting water water in, so I get a wet foot. I might expect this after six months of wear, but all the grip on the base of the boot is still there. The soles have not worn down at all but let the water in, there must be a small hole somewhere on the sole. All in all, I am a bit annoyed at the amount of time they have lasted. Okay, they are cheaper than some other work boots, but still, I feel two months of wear isn't really good enough. Maybe I got unlucky and had a pair that wasn't up to the usual standard, but I have worn lots of different boots in the past, some cheap and some expensive, but these has definitely lasted me the least amount of time. No good as a work boot in my opinion.
