Review: These are comfortable and well made boots. The fit is spot on, I have quite wide feet and I have no problem with these. I've become a bit of a fan of Amblers having bought other work boots by them. Good welted seams are a must have in my opinion. Amblers' boots seem to last longer than other makes. I also have a pair of Amblers safety trainers which are excellent. Very happy with these. Just to update....there was a curious smell to these boots when new, they smelled slightly off. I put it down to just new leather.. Several months later and the smell is still there. I have the feeling that the leather hasn't been cured properly. When the boots get wet and then start to dry they smell like stinky drains (no it's not my feet!) it's very noticeable and has happened since new....so I've knocked a star off. Shame as everything else about them is perfect. Eventually the smell went but it took many months...now they are perfect, extremely comfortable and I wear them every day.
