Review: I purchased one of these pruners many years ago at a local nursery. I lost it recently and was saddened that they were no longer being sold in the store. I was thrilled when I found them on Amazon. If you enjoy dead heading plants in your garden, these pruners can't be beat. They're small and slip handily in your pocket and don't poke or cut you as you carry them around as the tip is rounded. I also carry them while hiking on the trails around my house. They're great for cutting the errant blackberry or fern that happens to be growing into the designated paths. Plus the price is right!

Review: ARS is my new favorite brand of pruner. They stay sharp for a very very long time if you take care of them. (no wire/meatal cutting and oil after each use) I carry a pair of HP-300LDX and HP-130DX as my main pruners. For my personal use, these HP-310DX are for a bit more specialized pruning when reaching far into bushes to deadhead flowers/small stocks.
