Review: If you've ever tried to cut damp or treated sleepers with a "basic" handsaw, you'll be familiar with the endless frustration with the saw binding and jamming in the kerf. I had multiple treated sleepers to cut and my circular saw wasn't large enough to make single pass cuts so I decided to splash out on one of these coated handsaws. I couldn't quite believe the speed with which this thing tore through 200mm of sleeper. You can be through it in 30 seconds if you go at it hard enough. Granted, now it's been through a lot of use, the coating on the teeth is wearing off and it's slower than it was, but if I had a big job I'd buy another. The cut finish is reasonable, cleaner than I expected.

Review: Really good quality saw. It absolutely tears through wood with less effort required compared to other handsaws. It doesn't leave the very finest of finishes on the timber but then looking at the coarse teeth it was never designed for that. Definitely recommended.
