Review: Replaced my old manual Bosch laser. I was going to buy a Hilti with an optical rangefinder thing to match a colleague but found this. Side by side the Bosch is slicker; colour display and a side button. The Hilti goes further but I'll never need the kind of range either offers. And they measure accurately side-by-side over the tested 30m. Incidentally Hilti's service department is interesting; ostensibly helpful and quick to respond but they run for the hills when things get even vaguely non-standard. And spare part pricing is absolutely ludicrous. Bosch I don't know about. Enjoy.

Review: Zur Längenbestimmung, z.B. beim Gartenzaun, Garage, Giebel vom Haus etc., habe ich meistens, bzw. immer mein Smartphone mit der „AR Messung” App verwendet. Diese hat ausgereicht, damit ich eine grobe Zahl hatte, um z.B. den Bedarf an Malerfarbe oder Holzpaneele ausrechnen zu können. Nun wird besonders im professionellen Betrieb eine höhere Genauigkeit erwartet, bzw. ist sie zur Berechnung unabdingbar. Diese Genauigkeit soll nun der Bosch haben. Die Grundvoraussetzungen sind schon mal gut! Es ist, wie beim Smartphone, eine Kamera enthalten, welche ein Live Bild auf dem Display produziert. Mit Hilfe des Lasers und des Zooms kann man nun sogar noch aus weiterer Entfernung die betreffenden Punkte anvisieren, welche zur Berechnung verwendet werden sollen. Die Bedienung ist fast intuitiv, wird aber zusätzlich durch das Gerät veranschaulicht. Wie von Bosch gewohnt, ist die Verarbeitung robust und das Display sogar relativ scharf. Zum sicheren Verstauen wird eine kleine Tragetasche mitgeliefert. Der wiederaufladbare Akku ist bereits integriert. Zum Verbinden mit dem Smartphone oder PC ist Bluetooth, als auch eine USB-Schnittstelle vorhanden! ----Fazit --- Für den Hobby-Heimwerker schon zu präzise. Aber wer Spaß daran hat, soll es sich zulegen. Eine Empfehlung für den professionellen Einsatz mag ich nicht abgeben, da ich nicht weiß, ob das Gerät den „Profis“ genügen würde. Von mir als Laie erhält es 4 Sterne
