Review: Was a little worried about the claim that this was a good as corded version but I can say it’s even better. Just as strong without the hassle of the cord. 6.0 ah battery last loner then expected. Dismantled 12 pallets cutting the nails and battery still shows 2 bars! Would expect it to cut at least 12 more. Curious to see how long my 9.0ah batteries last!

Review: Normally, Dewalt's tools are really good and sturdy, and this saw would be too if it didn't have the faulty quick-release device that 'skips' at the very first blade change. If that happens you have to remove the tensioner, lever it back, reinstall it. That won't last very long overall. We have reciprocating saws in use every day (heavy use) and they usually last 1-2 years, this one certainly doesn't.
