Review: This was bought for an elderly lady with mobility problems that lives alone 2 hours from us to help her get through the 1st heatwave of the summer. When bought I could see nowhere did it say it is a self assembly item. It arrived quickly but we were called by her to say there was no way she could follow the instructions and didn't have the dexterity to assemble it. No problem I thought, it was bought on Prime, just send it back but it is a drop off only return. There's no way she is able to get out to be able to drop it off so she was stuck with it. And I was stuck with the bill. A couple of days ago we were able to pick it up from her and I thought I'd use it. I didn't find it hard to assemble but the quality is absolutely rubbish. The fan is so floppy and flexible you get more draft wafting your hand. I have a 30 year old fan, half the size, just as quiet that throws out twice as much as this hopeless item does.
