Review: Sealed around a new kitchen sink and elsewhere. Having used sealants over 40 years - this is the worst ever. It didn't feel right on application. 24 hours later, not only was it still soft, but a drop of water fell on the skin, and it immediately absorbed it and changed colour. I don't know how long you are supposed to wait for it to cure - but I've now waited well beyond the 24hrs advised. This is simply useless - and as far as I can determine, is not fit for purpose, and contravenes trading laws in its description - which is very surprising from such a well known brand. Claims it can be overpainted in 24hrs - completely false - unless we are being sold a dodgy batch? I should have read more into this: "not suitable for shower trays for this area use showerproof bathroom silicone due to its increased flexibility". Use showerproof? Are they saying it's not waterproof - yet use in bathrooms and kitchens? Is someone having a laugh? I would say not suitable for anywhere in the bathroom or kitchen. I will now buy a proper silicone sealant, after removing all of this rubbish.
