Review: the clamp works ok but the finish and quality could be better

Review: This is a very low quality item. The threads are very coarse and the finish is poor. It's also not easy to operate the jaws as a parallel clamp as the threads bind causing the clamp to lock up in a twisted position. I might re-drill and re-tap the holes to try and re-purpose the item so the money isn't wasted.
