Description: These Forge Fix Forge Fast Wood Screws have a universally accepted, Pozi compatible drive. They have 6 underhead lobes for improved countersinking and reduced surface dust, and reinforced countersunk necks which improve holding power. The screws have an anti-friction thread for reduced splitting of the timber, reduced 'jacking' and spinning of joined timber and improved drawing strength. The thread is serrated for improved pull-out and reduced torque when inserting the screw. The double cutting point allows faster drilling time and reduced clogging of wood dust and is capable of piercing 0.8mm steel. The screws have a 'Elementech 400' coating providing an anti-corrosive metal finish, which lasts up to 6 times longer than standard zinc coatings. The coating is environmentally friendly and does not contain Cr 6+. It is Salt Spray tested to 400 hours. The screws are suitable for interior use. Size: 4.5 x 70 mm. Box quantity: 100. Review: These screws are amazing - no need for pre-drilling, I used them through thick wood with no problems, even at the edge they do not split the wood. From now on these are the only ones I will buy. Worth every penny - not that they are expensive!

Review: These screws are lovely to use.Did a fantastic job putting Holz fence up. Even managed well in wet wood as the heavens opened up on mum and daughters handiwork. Love them. Will order again for sure. I feel like building a wooden shed now and lots of other jobs too. Nothing better than the right tools and equipments. Thank you.
