Review: I've purchased many hose connectors in the past, some branded and some cheap copies. ive had metal versions and plastic versions. One thing they all have in common, they dont last forever if left out over the winter. I bought this set mainly because it was available next day and Ive not tried the Gardena brand before. This set, while more expensive than the unicef set, this was available quicker and that suited my impatience. The connectors themselves are solid and connect with a ratifying click. they feel better than the hoselock ones im replacing, and so far work well. The outside tap connector has an adaptor, so supports 2 tap sizes. The outsize tap does leak a little, think a little plumbers tape might help here. I dont think this is due to this specifically but the nature of screwing plastic onto a metal tap. However its still better than a brass connector bought locally. That didn't fit well to the plastic connectors so im glad the plastic tap connector was included here. i think this pack could be cheaper, but its still good value-for the quality of the connectors and sprayer. especially when compared with buying separately. So far id recommend this over hoselock, lets hope it lasts well.
