Review: Half way through my first tin of paint I bought some thinners. Hammerite is great but it’s going off as quick as you’re applying it. I’ve got railings! Slow going with a small brush. Lunch meant popping the brush in the thinners. After lunch i basically just carried on but straight away noticed that the slightly thinned paint caused by the residue of thinners on the brush was easier to work with. If the paint in the tin gets a bit crusty / At the end of the day - a splash of thinners stops the paint surface drying out. The brush getting clogged with paint - a quick dip in the thinners and you’re good to go. Once you brush is clean poor the dirty thinners into the paint to prevent it going off!

Review: Please be very careful using this stuff, it caused my skin to burn like crazy,. I was in a lot of pain because it soaked through my gloves. I even had to use a burns cream because it wouldn't stop burning evening after washing my hands with soap and water and applying E45. Even after applying the burns cream it still took a while to calm the burning down, one of my fingers swelled up. This stuff is very dangerous, keep away from you children.
