Review: This is a good hammer that electricians will find useful. This is a dead-blow hammer with a flat face and a ball pein opposite. This is not a big or heavy hammer, it is a small to medium sized hammer so it will not be as useful for hammering in nails but that is not what it was intended for. I like the fact the hammer is insulated along the entire length except for the hanging hook at the end, this allows the user to pick several hand positions along the shaft to hammer, tap out claw items in relative safety although no electrical safety ratings exist for this hammer that I have found. The black rubber handle grip is some form of hardened neoprene and it seems to be very durable and provides an excellent gripping surface. This is an excellent hammer for a variety of jobs an electrician might encounter and as such, I recommend this hammer for smaller everyday tasks, don't buy this hammer if you believe this to be a larger hammer.
