Review: Item Description The IRWIN Tools 10502565 HSS COBALT Drill Bit is especially designed for drilling tough stainless steel. Given that statement, I purchased this drill to cut 2 holes into 1mm thick Stainless Steel sheets. Based on all the positive reviews, and the statements it was suitable for Stainless, I didn't think there would be a problem with the IRWIN. It would not touch the stainless steel sheet. I eventually had to use a 9.5mm Dormer A108 to cut the main holes, and opened up with the 10mm IRWIN, which overheated with this relatively simple task. This is Not suitable for tougher materials.
