Review: The lock arrived packaged, opened carton and the lock is fitted to a sturdy plastic shape… eventually sussed out the lock is fitted in place with an already sorted 4 number digit… and a key to reset your own combination… instructions are neatly hidden inside a compartment in the plastic shape. None of this is clearly evident on the packaging. The combination and key are under a very sticky label which comes apart in pieces as it is soooo adhesive. Eventually managed to enter the combination, not an easy task whilst fitted to plastic shape, the black rubber on the lock is a pain as it’s poorly moulded and interferes with entering the fourth digit (well on my lock it was), so cut that off once I’d opened the lock, discarded the plastic shape. Put key into hole in the side of the lock, turned 90 degrees as per instructions… had to do this three times, as the combination numbered dials didn’t set… all felt a bit ratchety and rough, not precision as I’d expect from a ‘Master’ lock…. Time will tell but I won’t be buying another and would not recommend.
