Description: A fast drying, zinc rich primer based on an epoxy ester resin. This matt grey coating contains pure zinc as a pigment and provides cathodic protection. Primarily intended for brush application on small areas or for touch-up, Rust-Oleum Cold Galvanizing Compound 1085 should be used on new, bare steel, blasted steel or galvanized steel surfaces. It can be recoated with non-saponifiable coatings. Should be used as a primer or as a single coat in light industrial exposures, corrosive environments and high humidity areas. Review: Really good quality paint. Used in light rain at around 6deg, and it dried without a problem. Managed to get two coats on in an hour. Seemed to adhere to galvanised and bare metal prepared surfaces. Great alternative to branded Galvafroid. Like all these paints, sold by weight rather than volume. So can is not full to top. Great price and next day delivery. Will definitely buy again.

Review: I didn’t open paint straight away. When I did it was too late to return. Tin had a puncture hole in top which was covered with a sticker from supplier. TIN LESS THAN HALF FULL. Very disappointing from Amazon seller. Paint is excellent but poor value at price.
