Review: Great bit of kit for DIY or Handyman. Do not be tempted to use the cheaper fake batteries as it effects the drills performance.

Review: In use the drill is very good, plenty of power and all the features to get what you need to be done, done. BUT there is a flaw. In speed setting 2, when you let go of the trigger there is quite a violent CLUNK as the drill stops rotating suddenly. This in itself would be fine but I have found, repeatedly, that the CLUNK undoes the chuck and the chuck will let go of the bit. It helps if you really really make sure the chuck is nice and tight (gripping much more firmly than I have ever had to do with other drills) but even so, after a few clunks (say if you're drilling many holes in a row) the chuck will work loose. Now I have to make sure the chuck is tight after every use, which I haven't had to do with other drills. You could also build the habit of letting go of the trigger slowly so that the break doesn't engage, but again, this is something I haven't had to do with other drills. Not sure of the thinking behind the clunk - maybe to make sure the drill stops rotating as soon as you let go, but to my mind it is far too violent and it needs a softer breaking action.
