Review: This is a good quality product at a reasonable price, and it works as expected. Both sides are marked with measurements one side being metric and other side in inches. There are clear black graduations of 1/2 mm, 1 mm, 1/2 cm, 1 cm, 1/100 inch, 1/64 inch, 1/50 inch 1/32 inch, 1/20 inch, 1/16 inch, 1/10 inch, 1/2 inch, and 1 inch markings. The ruler is packed into a vinyl wallet. When buying a metal ruler it has to be sturdy, not only to mark lines straight and true, but to prevent cutting into the ruler when using a stanley knife with a knife mat (Am-Tech A3 Cutting Mat ). With a stainless steel construction, it should last against steel blades and won't rust.

Review: Bought as a replacement for a long-serving British made Rabone steel rule, reassured that in appearance, the photographs appeared identical. Sadly, the reality is somewhat different. Whereas both my previous Rabone rule and the photographs advertising this product, are clearly marked ‘Made in England’, this country of manufacture is not marked on this product. However, the packaging clearly states the manufacturer as ‘Werka Co. Ltd. of No 988 Song Fu Road, Qingpu District, 201712 Shanghai, People’s Republic of China’. And whereas the photograph shows an uncluttered metric scale on the reverse of the rule, the metric scale on the actual product features certification and accreditation markings. Additionally, the overall finish looks and feels a tad below par. It's certainly not worth £13.25, when there are similar quality, Chinese manufactured steel rules selling for a fraction of the price on Amazon and elsewhere. Hence, return organised within a matter of hours of collecting it. Best avoided.
