Description: These Universal Extra pedestals by Wallbarn give installers greater flexibility when working across surfaces with very large differences in deck level as the height range is far greater across just three products: 85mm-135mm, 125mm-215mm and 210mm-380mm. This is due to each Extra pedestal coming complete with an extension shank which clicks into the baseplate. The threaded stem is then placed into the top of it. Typically, installers cannot always be sure how much the fall will be on the roof or where it will be, these pedestals have heights marked out every 10mm on the sides of the stems. This saves time, not having to frequently remeasure as you can see the height at a glance. Wallbarn’s Universal Extra pedestals are a freestanding system that create a cavity between the decking/paving surface and sub-deck, this allows obstacles such as pipes and cables to be concealed and out of the way and keeps it ventilated. This means that no fixings are made through the membrane underneath, this is ideal for warm roofs and inverted waterproofing systems. They also come with an integrated acoustic shim on the headpiece. Even flat roofs are built to a small fall to allow adequate drainage. Their adjustable pedestals have a telescopic stem which allow you to make millimetre-precise manual adjustments in height in order to achieve a flat upper surface. Joists are not standing directly on the waterproofing membrane, or insulation, preventing damage to it.
