Review: Bought 4-pack for use with wooden windows. Good value at £16.99, though heck knows how Yale have the cheek to suggest an outrageous RRP of £50. Arrived securely packed but withoout Yales retail packaging, which I guess is because the seller buys bulk and sends them with minimal item wrapping, enabling the competitive price and reducing the amount of waste plastic which is a good thing. Came with good instructions and screws. Only one key but additional keys can be sought separately. I found that a suitable sized Allen key (5mm I think) works just as well. Easy to fit by anyone with the most basic DIY skills and a screwdriver. A sharp chisel may also be useful - I found the lock worked most efficiently when the lock staple is at 90 degrees to the hasp. As my windows frames have a slight slope inwards away from the face of the opening casement, I achieved a better fit by slighly paring off the frame with a sharp chisel so that the lock staple could be seated flat.
